Recaps are published online on the <a href=\"https:\/\/v1cypwr8vx2.c.updraftclone.com\/labor\/staff-unions\/1199-research-hall-health\/seiu-1199-researchhall-health-negotiation-updates\">UW Labor Relations website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>1199NW RHH Initial Proposals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Article 9- Wages and Other Pay Provisions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Union proposed the following across-the-board increases to all members of the bargaining unit over their current salary:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>July 1, 2023: 15% or a $5.75 per hour increase whichever is higher<\/li>\n<li>July 1, 2024: 8% or a $2.25 per hour increase whichever is higher<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Union also proposed to raise Preceptor Premium to $2.00 up from $1.50, Certification Premium to $1.25 up from $1.00, and proposed the BSN premium at $1.00.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>UW Initial Proposals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>New MOU- Vacation Scheduling<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In response to the Union\u2019s initial proposal in Article 11, the Employer proposed to instead create a new MOU which would give the Union and employees the ability to suggest changes to the existing departmental vacation scheduling procedures.
