Recaps are published online on the <a href=\"https:\/\/v1cypwr8vx2.c.updraftclone.com\/labor\/staff-unions\/1199-research-hall-health\/seiu-1199-researchhall-health-negotiation-updates\">UW Labor Relations website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>SEIU 1199NW RHH Initial Proposals<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>New MOU- Wage Adjustments<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Union proposed that effective August 1, 2022, all wage scales would be adjusted to reflect the wage scales of the corresponding job classification at Harborview Medical Center. For Research RNs, the Union proposed, effective August 1, 2022, the wage scales will be at the same rate as Hall Health RN 2s. Additionally, the Union proposed a 5% recruitment and retention adjustment for Nurse Practitioners and PA-ARNPs. The R &amp; R adjustment would be made immediately following the wage scale adjustments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UW Initial Proposals<\/strong><br \/>\nThe employer proposed housekeeping edits to the following articles:<br \/>\nArticle 37- Miscellaneous Leave<br \/>\nArticle 38- Family Medical Leave Act and Parental Leave<br \/>\nArticle 39- Unpaid Holidays for a Reason of Faith or Conscience<br \/>\nArticle 40- Leave Due to Family Care Emergencies<br \/>\nArticle 41- Civil Jury Duty Leave and Bereavement Leave<br \/>\nArticle 42- Leave Related to Domestic Violence Sexual Assault or Stalking<br \/>\nArticle 43- Military Leave<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Steps<\/strong><br \/>\nThe next UW &amp; 1199NW RHH bargaining session is scheduled for September 13, 2022 and will be held virtually.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Background This recap details the third virtual session for the negotiation for the 2023-2025 collective bargaining agreement between the UW and SEIU 1199NW Research\/Hall Health.
