The parties\u2019 32nd session is scheduled for September 27.<\/p>\n<p>UW and UWHA have made progress on several topics in recent sessions, and have moved closer to a comprehensive agreement on a contract. Below is an overview of where the parties currently stand.\u00a0For additional information, please see <a href=\"https:\/\/v1cypwr8vx2.c.updraftclone.com\/labor\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2016\/10\/UWHA-QA-10.13.16.pdf\">the latest Q&amp;A from the Graduate Medical Education Office<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tentative Agreements<\/strong><br \/>\nThe parties have reached tentative agreements on the following articles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Committees<\/li>\n<li>Fringe Benefits<\/li>\n<li>Retirement and Health Care Benefits<\/li>\n<li>Grievance Procedure<\/li>\n<li>Leave: Bereavement<\/li>\n<li>Leave: Extended<\/li>\n<li>Leave: Professional<\/li>\n<li>Leave: Sick<\/li>\n<li>Leave: Vacation<\/li>\n<li>No Strike, No Lockout<\/li>\n<li>Nondiscrimination<\/li>\n<li>Progression through Training Years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Conceptual Agreements<\/strong><br \/>\nAdditionally, the parties are conceptually near agreement on the following topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compensation<\/li>\n<li>Childcare<\/li>\n<li>Professional Development<\/li>\n<li>Transportation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Outstanding Provisions<\/strong><br \/>\nThe following subjects remain open and under discussion:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Definition<\/li>\n<li>Dues Deduction<\/li>\n<li>Just Cause\/Discipline<\/li>\n<li>Leave: Holidays<\/li>\n<li>Leave: Miscellaneous<\/li>\n<li>Management Rights<\/li>\n<li>Moonlighting<\/li>\n<li>Subordination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since June 28, the UW and UWHA met for bargaining sessions on July 11, August 16, September 12, and September 19.
