Recaps are published online on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/v1cypwr8vx2.c.updraftclone.com\/labor\/staff-unions\/seiu-925-advisers\/negotiation-updates\">UW Labor Relations website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>SEIU 925 Advisers \u2013 Initial Proposals<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h5>Union Priorities<\/h5>\n<p>In the first session, the union shared the following top bargaining priorities as determined through a member survey:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compensation,<\/li>\n<li>Job security and layoff prevention,<\/li>\n<li>Advancement and promotion,<\/li>\n<li>Benefits (PTO, sick leave, childcare support, etc.),<\/li>\n<li>Flexible schedule and remote work,<\/li>\n<li>Workload and caseload, and<\/li>\n<li>Diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and accommodations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>Article: Preamble and Purpose<\/h5>\n<p>The Union\u2019s proposal matches much of the same language from the similar article in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/v1cypwr8vx2.c.updraftclone.com\/labor\/staff-unions\/seiu-925-ihme\/contract#article-4-affirmative-action:~:text=12\/31\/2026)-,Article%201%20%E2%80%93%20Preamble%20and%20Purpose,-1.1%20This%20Agreement\">SEIU 925 \u2013 IHME<\/a>\u00a0contract with a placeholder for the unit description from the Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC).
