Positions receive close supervision or follow specific and established procedures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Adjust television cameras and maintain picture quality;<\/p>\n<p>Set up, align, and check video and audio equipment used for production of radio and television programs;<\/p>\n<p>Assist higher-level technicians in the operation of radio and television broadcasting transmitters, video-tape systems, and master control panels;<\/p>\n<p>Check films, video and audio-tapes, and slides against program and production schedules; operate audio and projection equipment and recorders in accordance with schedules;<\/p>\n<p>Adjust and repair equipment and perform routine maintenance; construct and modify radio and television electronic equipment under direction of higher-level technicians;<\/p>\n<p>Perform related duties as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>High School, technical, or vocational school graduate, or GED Certificate; AND one year of full-time experience\/training in electronics equipment operation and maintenance.
