First-line supervisor of data control personnel. Supervise computer operations personnel where no Computer Operations Supervisor position exists.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With delegated authority, interview and recommend selection of applicants, train new employees, assign and schedule work, act upon leave requests, conduct annual performance evaluations and recommend disciplinary action;<\/p>\n<p>Direct and coordinate computer program staging and\/or scheduling;<\/p>\n<p>Consult with systems development personnel on policies and procedures to expedite work flow and to improve productivity;<\/p>\n<p>Advise management on problems relating to data collection and dissemination;<\/p>\n<p>Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures for documentation standards related to the processing of data control systems;<\/p>\n<p>Confer with user departments to implement controls and schedules;<\/p>\n<p>Adjust job schedules to facilitate improved work flow;<\/p>\n<p>Direct daily collection of data control data;<\/p>\n<p>Perform related duties as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Three years of full-time experience as a Data Control Technician, including one year as a lead.<\/p>\n<p>Equivalent education and\/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and\/or registration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CLASSIFICATION HISTORY\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>02\/07\/1973: New Class<br \/>\n05\/01\/1982: Revise Class<br \/>\n07\/02\/1990: Revise MQ<br \/>\n06\/01\/2005: CSR Class Conversion<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UW CODE AND REPRESENTATIVE GROUP 17362 (E S SEIU 925 Supv) 17824 (NE S SEIU 925 Supv) 22293 (NE H NI SEIU 952 Supv) BASIC FUNCTION Supervise Data Control personnel.
