{"id":5130,"date":"2024-03-24T18:28:58","date_gmt":"2024-03-25T01:28:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hr.uw.edu\/comp\/?page_id=5130"},"modified":"2025-05-22T11:48:28","modified_gmt":"2025-05-22T18:48:28","slug":"mailing-list-equipment-operator-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/v1cypwr8vx2.c.updraftclone.com\/comp\/classified-staff\/mailing-list-equipment-operator-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Mailing List Equipment Operator 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>UW CODE AND REPRESENTATIVE GROUP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>17793 (NE S SEIU 925 Non Supv)<br \/>\n22441 (NE H NI SEIU 925 Non Supv)<\/p>\n<p><strong>DEFINITION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Operate, adjust, and maintain multiple format labeling and inserter production mailing equipment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Positions in this class are distinguished from the Mailing List Equipment Operator I by responsibility for full-time work assignment to multiple format labeling machines and station inserters such as the Cheshire, Magna-craft, Kurt-Rudy, Pitney-Bowes, and Phillipsburg models.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Operate, adjust, and maintain multiple format labeling mailing machines;<\/p>\n<p>Label mailings using high speed labeling machines;<\/p>\n<p>Operate, adjust, and maintain all types of inserting equipment (single, two, or multiple station inserters);<\/p>\n<p>Complete and file necessary forms with the U.S. Postal Service;<\/p>\n<p>Perform related duties as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>High School graduation or equivalent; AND one year of experience as a Mailing List Equipment Operator I or equivalent.
