Under direct supervision, perform routine washroom tasks (e.g., sorting linens) and operate washroom equipment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sort, mark and prepare soiled laundry for washing;<\/p>\n<p>Load, unload and operate large institutional washers, extractors, tumblers and other washroom equipment;<\/p>\n<p>Assist with preparation of washing chemicals;<\/p>\n<p>Maintain sanitary washroom environment and equipment;<\/p>\n<p>Perform related duties as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Six months of experience in a commercial laundry or three months of experience in a large institutional or large commercial laundry.
