Positions in this job assess patient status, evaluate, plan, and administer speech and language services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BASIC FUNCTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Provides professional speech pathology services in the areas of motor speech, language, cognition, swallowing, voice, and\/or alternative communication under the guidance of a licensed speech language pathologist.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Under structured supervision, participates in planning and administering evaluation and treatment of patients.
